Figures and Beyond: Umai Group on the Key Results of the Year Coming to an End

At the end of the year, it is customary to sum up results, share achievements and talk about numbers. But we would like to start with what matters most — words of gratitude. Thank you for your trust, for choosing us, and for coming to our stores every day for familiar purchases for your home and family. May the coming year bring warmth, well-being, and many joyful moments to your homes.

This year has been truly dynamic. We continued to grow, opened new stores, and worked to be closer to customers in different regions of the country. Umai Group’s retail networks expanded by 25 new stores. Today, this includes 87 Globus stores, 13 SPAR supermarkets, 41 Dostor discount stores, and 24 Narodny stores — located in cities and villages across Kyrgyzstan.

Every day, important work is carried out in our stores. More than 350 types of fresh, ready-to-eat meals are prepared, around 500 bakery and confectionery items are baked, deliveries are received, and quality and assortment are carefully monitored. Depending on the store format, the assortment ranges from 1,500 to 25,000 products — everything needed for everyday life and family comfort.

Behind all this is a large team of over 7,300 employees. These are people who come to work every day, welcome customers, and work in sales areas, production facilities, and warehouses. Together, they serve around 270,000 customers daily — and for us, this is not just a number, but a great responsibility and trust that we strive to justify every single day.

Our stores operate across almost the entire country, including the Naryn and Jalal-Abad regions, at altitudes of over 3,000 meters above sea level. We are proud to be close to our customers even in places where retail operations are especially challenging, yet vitally important for local communities. Today, Umai Group ranks 11th among the largest taxpayers in Kyrgyzstan, contributing to the development of the national economy and regional growth.
