When history meets fashion, it becomes something greater than just style.Globus retail chain and the Be Adam brand have joined forces once again to delight Kyrgyzstan with a truly unique drop.

Their third collaborative collection, titled "Syimykhtanam" ("I Am Proud"), is a tribute to the legendary figures of Kyrgyzstan who have left a lasting mark on the country’s history.

The previous two drops — "The Wonders of Kyrgyzstan" — celebrated the natural riches and iconic landmarks of the republic.

“This is more than just clothing. It’s a symbol of respect for those who embody the Kyrgyz spirit and resilience — individuals whose names stand for wisdom, strength, and love for their homeland and people. This drop features personalities whose life stories, creative legacies, and achievements continue to inspire us. It’s our way of keeping their memory alive in the present,” say the creators.

Each item in the collection tells a story — not only about these remarkable individuals, but also about the regions they come from. Among them:

  • Sayakbay Karalaev (1894, Issyk-Kul region) – the greatest manaschi, a storyteller of the epic Manas. Often called the Kyrgyz Homer for his phenomenal memory and moving performance, he played a key role in preserving national heritage.

  • Kurmanjan Datka (May 22, 1811, Osh region) – a distinguished stateswoman, known as the Queen of Alay. Her wisdom and inner strength helped guide her people through difficult times. Her name is now a symbol of national pride.

  • Togolok Moldo (June 17, 1860, Naryn region) – real name Bayymbet Abdyrakh uulu, was an akyn, manaschi, and folk poet. His work reflects the soul and wisdom of the Kyrgyz people, contributing greatly to the preservation of oral traditions.

  • Toktogul Satylganov (October 25, 1864, Jalal-Abad region) – an akyn and composer whose songs and poems gave voice to his people’s pain, hope, and love for their land. Despite enduring injustice and exile, he remained spiritually strong.

  • Iskhak Razzakov (October 25, 1910, Batken region) – First Secretary of the Communist Party of the Kyrgyz SSR, a key figure in the development of industry, education, and culture. Respected for his humility, honesty, and fairness. Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic.

  • Atai Ogonbaev (October 21, 1900, Talas region) – the founder of professional Kyrgyz music, a composer, singer, and master of the komuz. His iconic piece "Mash Botoy" became a symbol of Kyrgyz music. He mentored generations of musicians, leaving a rich legacy.

  • Bubusara Beishenalyeva (September 15, 1926, Chuy region) – Kyrgyzstan’s first professional ballerina who graced the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre. Her grace and talent became symbols of Kyrgyz ballet. A true legend who paved the way for women in the arts.
