Kyrgyzstan is a country rich in history, each region of which preserves the unique heritage and grandeur of the past. From ancient petroglyphs and burial mounds to architectural monuments and the routes of the Great Silk Road. Each region has its own iconic sites, be it the Arslanbob waterfalls or Mount Aigul-Tash in Batken.
Here, living legends intertwine with the wisdom of the past and ancestral traditions, becoming an integral part of modernity and national identity. Each of these places tells its own unique story, inspiring the search for new forms and meanings.
Globus store chain and Be Adam brand have teamed up again to create a limited-edition “Kyrgyzstanyn Keremeti” drop dedicated to the history and cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan.
This is not just clothing, but an entire journey through time expressed through style and symbolism.
All seven regions of the country are represented in a modern design that reveals their iconic places:
Sulaiman-Too is a sacred mountain in southern Kyrgyzstan and the first site in the country to be recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has had sacred significance since ancient times, as evidenced by petroglyphs. At the top there is a mosque “Takhty Sulaiman”, restored in 1991.
Aigul-Tash is a mountain 20 kilometers from Batken, famous for the rare Aigul flower, which grows only here. Its name translates as “moon flower”: it appears on the shady slopes and is a symbol of Batken oblast. The flower is included in the Red Book and is protected by the state.
Arslanbob Waterfalls – two waterfalls, Big and Small, located in picturesque mountains. The Big waterfall reaches 80 meters and has a narrow shape, creating the effect of height. The name of the waterfalls translates as “lion's mouth”, as the sound of falling water resembles a roar.
The petroglyphs of Cholpon-Ata are ancient rock paintings dating back to the 2nd millennium BC. - Most of the images belong to the period of Scytho-Saxon animal style, when animals were the key elements of rock art.
Tash-Rabat is a caravanserai of the 15th century, built on the site of an ancient monastery of the IX-X centuries. According to one version, it was founded to protect trade caravans, according to another – the structure was erected by a local rich man who never completed the construction.
Burana Tower is a minaret of the IX-XI centuries of the Karakhanid state, located in the Chui Valley in the north of Kyrgyzstan. This ancient tower is part of an archaeological-architectural complex protected by the state.
anas's Gumbez. According to one legend, it was built by Manas's son Semetei, who carried the body of his murdered father to Akhirtash. According to another version, the tomb was built by Manas' wife Kanykei. To confuse the enemies, she ordered to write someone else's name on the tomb.
The new collection “Kyrgyzstanyn Keremeti” is the result of cooperation between two domestic brands, whose philosophy is based on respect for their customers and love for their native country. Earlier, Globus chain stores and Be Adam brand released a drop dedicated to fruits and vegetables grown in the regions of Kyrgyzstan.
We are proud of our traditions and honor the memory of our ancestors. May our common heritage always resonate in your heart as well.
